Wow I come back to my thread and it has shit stains all over it from rival fans.

He's not insulting. He's downplaying it to his players to get them prepared for the next game.

Obviously some of you have never played sports.

Once a game is over the coach will always make it a worse case scenario for the next week. Here's what GT coach said about KU:

According to the logic I'm hearing here he should say something like.

"Wow, KU sucks. You guys will have this easy..."

No one wants to talk about Webb starting.

That's exactly how I first saw it. Yeah, it IS a shot at KU, but they deserve it because they kicked our asses. But it's mostly motivational for next week so his team doesn't go in thinking "We beat KU, so this game should be easy."

No one cares about the other teams I suppose.

I know. A 3 year old could tell that's what he's saying.

Some of the education levels around here are very questionable.

But after the game, He'll say "Wow, KU sucks. You guys had this easy..." And then go on to talk about how tough the next team is. Coach speak.

Yours was the only one that experienced a truly EPIC fail. That generates conversation.

I've cooled down since earlier this week. I'm in this season behind Gill 100%. He will be judged fairly on the decisions made on the field.

In my opinion he should have said "**** it" and stuck Opurum in at RB for the 2nd half. KU would have won the game had he done that. He's an incredible talent and to have him sitting on the bench when he could have got more than the pathetic yards per carry the RBs got is VERY STRANGE....

You've just got to keep track of these things and make a rational decision once the season is over.

Good. I hope he plays better than Pick did.

Opurum is a real RB. I think we probably have a better shot at scoring points with Webb under center than Pick.

Doesn't take much. Although, the whole team wasn't playing very hard.

He had better turn into an all pro LB or Gill is going to look even dumber than he already does.

I was screaming and clapping loudly on third down. Didn't seem to help though. And the crowd was pretty damn good its just that we didn't have much to cheer for.

I wonder what the size the crowd will be. There were around 48K at the opener.
