The fact that he and haley didn't get along is not that shocking considering Weis carries the resume he does.

No, the biggest reason is because Weis is a douchebag. The fact that his son is going to UF is pretty much a coincidence. Weis was leaving no matter what, its just in his nature to be an asshole.

Oddly enough, none of this would likely be a topic of discussion had Weis put the team first and requested that all parties involved keep their mouths shut about his impending departure. Whether it had any bearing on outcomes or not, it was most certainly a distraction this young team did not need the past two weeks. There is absolutely zero reason that Florida and Weis could not have postponed this process until his work in KC was completed. "I am definitely interested in the position, but would prefer to finish my work here before discussing it further." likely would have been enough "team effort" to eliminate all possible speculation and potential distraction.

Doesn't really matter at this point. Game is over. Let's move on.

Yes, I need to watch what I eat, lose weight so that I may live long enough to see the Chiefs win a Super Bowl.

Because no one in the world would want to work/coach with their son if money is of no concern to them.

Thing is, think about it. What are the only two stories that have leaked this year? Weis signing to UF and Weis needing gall bladder surgery. Those are the only two stories that haven't been officially released by the Chiefs. Just shows what kind of person Weis is.

[QUOTE=The Bad Guy;7346540]The notion that Haley and Pioli hate Carl Peterson/Herm players is hilarious.

What?! No it's not! in fact, I would say Whitlock nailed this one!

He is exaxctly right! There is a VERY strong Patriots bias in the chiefs organization right now. If you aren't an alumnus of that fraternity, or drafted/acquired by one of them, it is VERY hard to dig yourself out!

So why the **** did he even come here if he wanted to work with his son? Why did he sign a multiyear contract here if he wanted to work with his son? Trust me, the son thing is a coincidence.

At this point, who gives a shit?

Weis is gone, and soon, we'll find out if Haley is serious about finding an OC, or if he's just going to hire a puppet to STFD and STFU while he calls plays.

Let's try and figure this out together...

Muschamp just hired Weis to be the OC of Florida of which Muschamp is the head coach.

When Weis was hired by the Chiefs,
Muschamp was not the head coach of any team.

That was easy.

DeezNutz 01-11-2011 01:41 PM

Haley just dodged the question about whether he's still committed to hiring an OC and/or naming an OC.
