I have their performance package and 15/2 is what they guarantee me for 65 bones a month.

Cable internet is a crapshoot because if people are hitting it hard all around you, it will slow down your speeds. I have the 25 Mb package in the chicago suburbs and I am lucky to get 18. Uverse offers slower but more reliable speeds but it isn't available for me. I just hope Google Fiber spreads fast. That will put a serious assraping on Comcast if it works.

R8ers, what internet provider do you have to get those speeds? Holy ****. Are you hooked up to NaSa?

North state blitz fiber. 70 bucks a month

I have comcast Xfinity Blast. Got a good rate. But now I have been thinking about getting cable. So I called comcast up. I'm paying 45-50 a month right now so I was figuring maybe an additional 50 bucks to get HD cable. It was all convoluted I'd have to cancel my internet get the basic HS internet in order to get the first tier of HD programming and it would set me back $120 bucks a month. Or I could get the Bundle and get a home phone line thrown in for a bit more. Only game in town here too. Other than Dish or DirecTV. But I live in an apartment and can't do a dish.

I'd kill for a company that offered that type of service. I'm essentially paying the same amount for shit.

I got real lucky.... they basically rolled out this service and started in my little hick town basically down the street I live on...

All my TV comes across these same fiber lines...

I can upload a GB file in less than 10 mins, it all depends on how fast the other side can take the file.
