Draft one, get a FA and go for a prospect too, don't put all our eggs in one basket. And IF casshole ends up starting for another team, all the shit talking we've all done, is going to make me laugh. Just don't take your angst out on me. We'll all see soon enough how good geno is, and if you're right - he has all the tools, and I'm wrong - he becomes a better pro than Tyler, then I sure as hell hope he's wearing red and gold and winning playoff games.

I love Tyler Wilson as a prospect as well.

I'm just tired of the discussion that this team should do anything other than draft a QB. Wilson is fine. Geno is fine. Barkley is even fine. We just need to roll the dice and run with it.

As for the angst, I readily admit it's my fault. This offseason has been extremely stressful so far. The thought that I've been a fan for 30 years, been through everything this team has been through, and we could possibly entertain using our 1 and only EVER 1st overall pick on a non-QB just makes me sick thinking about it.

They didn't suck because of character problems. They sucked because they sucked. It's not like they were putting up amazing stats and somehow finding ways to lose because they couldn't lead. They lost because they were shitty players.

Cam Newton is not a shitty player. I don't give a shit if he supposedly got paid in college. That has no bearing on anything and isn't even a character issue.

If you want the right 53, I have just the guy for you. He only drafts team captains.

Jeff George had an entirely decent rookie season, statistically.

He had two very good statistical years with Atlanta, one with Oakland and one with Minnesota.

He was very capable of being a good QB...if he hadn't been douche factor 9.

And sadly I'm starting to think the same is true for Jay Cutler.

He continues to put up decent to good numbers every year but loses. He has a winning record in Chicago, easily, but can't seem to get over that hump from "above average" to "elite."

But stats don't equal wins, and ultimately winning the Super Bowl is the goal.
