Even after Peterson's child died a year ago under similar circumstances - I cannot understand how he can maliciously draw blood on the child, as evidenced by the photos and then continue to whip him, inflicting more injuries.

Addressing his family, Peterson did not assume his father’s role and become a drug addict.

Maybe now, Adrian will get the help he so desperately needs and break the family cycle of beating children to a pulp while stuffing leaves down their mouths.

I saw the headlines and wondered how the heck he got a felony charge for spanking a kid. Then I saw the photos. Yikes. I'm not against punishing a kid but you can't do that.

Again, what happened here wasn't discipline. If the pictures aren't enough for anyone, read his texts. In one of them, he talks about how despite whipping his kid more than usual, the kid didn't cry, so he needs to come up with a "system" to make him cry. It's disgusting, and it shows that he does this because he gets a sick sense of enjoyment out of it, not because he wants to discipline his kids. He is a shitty father and anyone defending him is a moron.

And for all the whining about how this country is going down the shitter, note that pretty much all the people who are in power right now came from a generation where spanking and whipping were common punishments for children. Oops, looks like all that physical discipline didn't do jack shit to improve society.
