Couldn't go, live in PA, but the word out is that almost a million people showed up. There were no reports of rioting or violence. Nobody back here can believe it..I do. And I am so proud that I grew up back there. Real people.

Yeah, seems like most people just went for the party, and that's OK.

We went planning to get to, and see, the rally. But it became obvious pretty quickly that wasn't going to happen, so we partied for a bit out there then walked to a bar to watch.

It was crazy. I have never been part of such a huge event. I felt it was poorly planned. KC cops were blocking streets off, not letting fans move to the front of Union station from the side. No bathrooms or water stations. We parked at Kemper and it was a cluster. Busses were mobbed afterward and had to walk back. Put in about 6 miles for the day.

Pretty disappointing day.

Someone should have done a better job in the 36 hours following the end of the World Series of planning out how to accommodate 800,000 people for a free-to-the-public event on a shoestring budget.

We actually had a church 50 feet away (9th and Grand) offering bathrooms and free bottles of water. With my kids there, it was a lifesaver.

I wasn't comparing you to Cardinals fans. Why do you insist on doing so? I was simply asking a question.

I could count 2 food trucks from the hotel room.

I inquired about room service at the hotel and was told it was six hours behind.

We ended up eating snacks and halloween candy and drinking booze.
