We have 5 weeks til the trade deadline. If we are in this situation or better I can't see selling. I'd say anything within 3-5 games of the division dictates making a run at it. The Twins and Tribe both have been insane on the road while losing their ass at home. I don't think that carries out the rest of the season.

I'll make a call right now..don't be shocked if at the end of July this division is being fought for by KC and Detroit.

Yeah but I think they are going to make a run, I do. They are too good of a team. Then again.....they probably won't be close but I won't be surpirsed if they are.

Nonetheless, I think The Tribe and Twins will both regress from their road domination.

7.5 out of 1st by Memorial Day.

Cleveland is a really, really good team. Far more complete than any rival we had in the Central in 2015. It's possible their starting pitchers stay shaky, but I would be surprised if they didn't have a couple of hot streaks in them this year.

This team was around 7.5 back at the end of July a couple years ago, and ended up in the World Series. 2 or 3 games back is literally nothing when you have 100 games to go.

I don't care if we win out from now until the All-Star break, we need to sell. No way does Jason Vargas, a career number 4 starter, keep pitching like he's Greg Maddox. See Ubaldo Jimenez. Between Hosmer, Moustakas, and Cain, 2 of the 3 are almost guaranteed to be gone, so to keep them for 80 games in an attempt to push past 500 instead of getting key prospects for a depleted farm system rubs me the wrong way. And for that matter, trade Herrera for peanuts and trade Vargas while he's red hot.

I love winning now. It's an addiction. But I love long term success even more.

This team isn't the 2014 team. Not even close.
