Josh Allen: 6-5 262, 25 years old
2019: 16 games, 10.5 Sacks, 23 QBHits, 6 AV, 68.4 PFF 2020: 8 games, 2.5 sacks, 11 QBHits, 3 AV, 69.6 PFF 2021: 16 games, 7.5 sacks, 14 QBHits, 7 AV, 78.5 PFF 2022: 7 games, 3 sacks, 11 QBHits, 83.5 PFF Cap: 2022-About $2M 2023-$11.5M Brian Burns: 6'5 250, 24 years old 2019: 16 games, 7.5 Sacks, 16 QBHits, 4 AV, 63.7 PFF 2020: 15 games, 9 sacks, 21 QBHits, 6 AV, 76.8 PFF 2021: 17 games, 9 sacks, 18 QBHits, 10 AV, 60.8 PFF 2022: 7 games, 5 sacks, 7 QBHits, 74.1 PFF Cap: 2022-About $1.3M 2023-$16M Don't think you can go wrong with either. So who ever comes cheaper is my pick. I'd offer 2023 2nd + 2024 2nd + Hardman and first team to accept wins. Then also sign Odell. |
Man... I'm torn on Josh Allen. He looked like potential in spades when he was drafted and then had a phenomenal rookie season, but he has been relatively average since his injury his 2nd year.
The real question for me is, is he worth a 1st? Should he be a conditional 2nd in 2024 and something this year, maybe a 3rd? I'm a bit scared of throwing the farm at him. |
Neither team is taking two 2nd round picks and Hardman.

No one is going to want Hardman, and upcoming FA.
Just stop, this isn't madden. It's picks they will want and picks only. |
Wonder if we could pry away Rashan Gary or Preston Smith from the Packers. They need receivers and we could offer Hardman and pick

Better be prepared to give them two 1sts, a 3rd, and Hardman. No way they are trading him. Maaaaaaabye Smith, but even that's doubtful. Garvin isn't starter material and Enagbare just isn't ready. |

It's just a really nice player. A guy I'd love to have and would probably even sign to a FA contract at really nice figure. But I'm not doing that AND giving up a shitload of draft capital for him. I think we know what he is at this point. He's a very good player but nothing that is going to dominate games. It's funny, but it seems CP is the only place where we have a reverse endowment effect. Look through the Chris Jones thread when folks were worried about not getting him extended. There were people saying they'd take a 2nd for him. I think I was willing to move him for both of the Colts 2nd rounders, IIRC. Chris Jones is a much much MUCH better player than Allen or Burns or pretty much anyone other than Donald, Garrett and possibly Parsons. And we have wanting to give up more for Allen or Burns than many were willing to accept for Jones. It's odd - it's the inverse of most anything I've ever seen when it comes to trade talks. |

I’d be willing to bet the 2 sides have talked about an extension and are on different planets. The fact Nate said KC will still be in on OBJ is another sign that Mecole could potentially be moved. |
I dont like to imagine how bad our defensive line would look without Jones commanding so much attention and holding in the middle.

There's zero chance they trade Hardman. |
