The Cinncinnati Bengals Select:
Elhadji Ndiaye DE Nebraska-Kearney One of the best kept secrets in the 2014 NFL Draft is a severely little-known hybrid 6’5, 255 pound combo defensive end/outside linebacker prospect named Elhadji Ndiaye. Ndiaye is a native of Senegal, who played soccer growing up. Football? It was an afterthought. That is, until his cousin, former NFL defensive lineman Ogemdi Nwagbuo, saw the potential in Elhadji, and took the youngster under his wing. Ogemdi, a solid vested NFL veteran of the Giants, Chargers, Panthers & Lions, convinced Ndiaye that he had a world of potential in the sport of football, and pushed him to give it a try. It's a seventh round pick what the heck. |
The Cinncinnati Bengals Selections:
1st rounder Kony Ealy DE Missouri 2nd rounder A.J. McCarron QB Alabama 3rd rounder Trevor Reilly OLB Utah 4th rounder Walt Aikens CB Liberty 5th rounder Bryan Stork C Florida State 6th rounder Isaiah Crowell RB Alabama State 6th rounder John Brown WR Pittsburgh State 7th rounder Howard Jones OLB/DE Shepherd 7th rounder Elhadji Ndiaye DE Nebraska-Kearny Ok so Bengals draft is done and this is what this team has after some questionable picks and some future gems. Of course their aren't a lot of big names in this draft, but big names don't always work sometimes lesser names become strong Pros. Coming in I saw the needs as DE, OLB, C, CB,WR, and backup QB. The last isn't a popular decision and yes I like Dalton but if you aren't sure you have a QB that can win in the big game you have to get someone who can. AJ is getting down graded bad by critics he's a leader you can't teach that. So then on to needs I knocked them out one by one. Ealy for DE, Trevor Reily for OLB, Stork with big game experience for C, and Walt Aikens a little know future starting CB. With all needs taken care of it was time to take some gambles for the future First there is RB Isaiah Crowell once regarded as best RB in high school football. He made some mistakes but everyone deserves another chance. Every year there are small college players that become house hold names . Who are Howard Jones and Elhadji Ndiaye maybe we will know them next year or the following years to come. Overall I'm satisfied with my team and my draft. I thank Pest and all of you for letting me participate this year and hopefully I can participate in the future. |
BossChief PMd me his list.
The Atlanta Falcons select Xavier Grimble, TE, USC |
I'm so confused. Could you please update the OP, Pesty?

3 picks left......assholes.

Well, it seems ocitys pick passed and with their final pick in the CP mock, the Falcons select
LT Tuipulotu, DT, Utah Excellent value as a 7th round comp Pming shun and ocity now to try and wrap this thing up |
I would be very surprised if we passed on Ward if he's still on the board at 23. They do seem to be counting on Abdullah though so anythings possible.
|
I didn't do a rundown of the Packers picks, so here it is.
1.21 Louis Nix III, NT, Notre Dame 2.53 Terrence Brooks, FS, Florida State 3.85, Shane Skov, ILB, Stanford 3.98 Billy Turner, OG/OT, North Dakota State 4.121 Josh Huff, WR, Oregon 5.161 George Uko, DE/DT, USC 5.176 Shaquil Barrett, DE/OLB, Colorado State 6.197 Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke 7.236 Brock Jensen, QB, North Dakota State I don't want any Packer fans bitching at me for not addressing need. That's 9 picks, and six of them are defense. I bolstered the defensive line, added two players for linebacker depth, and took care of the secondary. I don't care what kind of injuries happen this year. If Dom Capers can't make this defense play with THAT kind of depth on the team, the guy deserves to be fired. |
look at the players that will be there for us to pick from....praying we get an opportunity to trade down

Another great mock draft! Next year has to be my turn to be the Chiefs. I'm the only original left yet to have them! Let's hope my draft slot is #32.

Craig Loston just got cut today.
|
I had two guys get cut today: Anthony Steen and Bennett Jackson. That said, the Chiefs should probably claim Anthony Steen. He would be a good fit for Reid, imo.

So did Ethan westrbrooks made the Rams?

2014 Mock Draft
Eric Ebron – Meh, 785 yds and 6 TDs so far Dee Ford – Hey, he’s coming into his own, maybe? Stephon Tuitt – Pretty good pick. In 14 games this year, 6.5 sacks from the interior line. Morgan Moses – Had a pretty good year starting at RT for the Redskins Brent Urban – Torn ACL rookie year, blocked a kick in 2015, yea he’s a dud thusfar, okay? Marqueston Huff – Dud, backup safety Ed Stinson – Dud, backup DE for the Cardinals Jeff Janis – A large reach in the mock, and he is way down the depth chart for the packers Seantrel Henderson – Had a great rookie year and continues to start at RT for the Bills. Reportedly he has Crohn’s disease now. Anthony Steen – On the Dolphins Practice Squad Terrance West – You make the call. In his first two seasons he has 923 yards from scrimmage and 5 tds Russell Bodine – Starting center for the Bengals, but is not very highly thought of. Larry Webster – Currently on Lions Practice Squad Logan Thomas – Currently with the Dolphins Alfred Blue – Arian Foster’s backup – has 1450 yards from scrimmage and 6 tds Bennett Jackson – Tore his ACL this year, had microfracture surgery last year |
