Oh bullshit they played the game of their lives.

Nah they've probably got a better game in them. They haven't unleashed Gibbs yet, he was clearly electric and they were missing Jameson Williams. Once they get him back they'll have a great 1-2 punch at WR. And their O-line is elite across the board. They're a very dangerous offense.

Toney and Moore absolutely sucked ass and lost us the game tonight. Unreal. When was the last time you can pin a loss solely on shit WR play? It really is incredible how awful they were.

Skyy needs to catch that anyway though. NFL receivers catch that.

Lots of drops. KT is on the hook for a couple too. One lead to an INT for a TD. Rice had at least one drop, grey and bell too. Lots of drops. Like the SB against TB

Add in the stupid 3rd and one idiot play and you get a loss.

We've seen that third & short reerunation for years now... ever since Mahomes got his kneecap knocked out of place.

That "Belldozer" play needs to be burned. Adding a "twist" to it only meant a greater loss of yardage.

The jet sweep did not work at all tonight.
Nothing Moore or Toney worked tonight...at least not in our favor.

Toney really is the focal point of this loss. His absolute dumpster fire of a game directly led to a TEN POINT swing, at minimum. ****er should be fined his game check for that atrocity.

Moore is just not good. He is the MEH of WRs. Another draft dud.

The math is simple. Oline + Pacheco = First Down.

Probably a more frustrating game than Indy last year. Just a brutal, painful mess that wasted a solid defensive effort

I’d say the Lions are exactly who most thought they were. A decent team that might make the playoffs with an average at best QB. I saw nothing from them to think it was a mistake to believe we would handle them fairly well.

threebag 09-07-2023 10:18 PM

Well we will get them next time, nut.

If you said KC would only score 20 on offense and give 7 to Detroit on a Pick 6, I would have expected Detroit to win by a lot more than 1 point. They had one of the best offenses in the league last year and only scored 14 tonight. They were bailed out by Toney’s butterfinger Pick 6.

I'm half joking but I'm half not, the heat is going to be on Matt Nagy real quick if they have too many performances like this. Just sloppy and didn't feel like they were in control for stretches.

I mean Nagy isn’t calling the same Belldozer direct snap that even CEHs blind ass can see coming but EB seemed like the accountability guy even as Reid’s stooge so that’s where I think we can measure Nagy

Chiefspants 09-07-2023 10:30 PM

Yeah I'm not going to make any firm judgements on Nagy after he found out he lost Travis Kelce 48 hours ago.

If we look like this with Kelce then yeah, time to panic.

I'm rioting this weekend now, was originally just going to chill.

Uh, that's kind of his job though. To not let it fall completely to shit when the unfortunate happens.

One bright spot was McDuffie looking like rod woodson out there
