Hopefully next season will see a rebound. It's certainly possible. Aaron Crow was shittier last year than the 4 LHPs this year, by far. Crow was so bad that he got demoted from AA to high-A, and sucked even worse at the lower level. This season Crow is a borderline All-Star candidate (albeit as a reliever) on the major league team.

It's not far fetched.

The last "youth movement" was Damon, Beltran, Dye and Sweeney.

The only guy they could afford to keep was Sweeney. How is it going to be any different with this current crop?

That just happened, too. I remember when we brought them up 2 or 3 years ago, so its completely relevant to today's situation.
