National League fans: get over yourself. Your form of baseball sucks. You may be afraid of change now because seeing gimps hit every day is all you've ever known, but it is not fun to watch a team walk the number 8 hitter with 2 outs to get that almost-sure 3rd out to escape. Its stupid, in little league its fine because all the kids hit about as well, more or less, but in the major leagues these bums are worthless at the plate. Double switches? That is not rocket-scientist strategy, nor is it remotely interesting. In the 7th inning with a guy at first no out you sub out the pitcher for a pinch-hitter, then when the #4 hitter makes the last out you bring the pitcher in to bat 4th. Ooooh, that is so damned witty and clever, wow! Who ever woulda thunk that one! That manager is a genius!
National League baseball sucks. Moving on... Interleague. Interleague has run its course? Why? Has AFC/NFC play run its course? East/West or whatever the hell the NBA does I'm not sure because I dont watch it, has that run its course? What is so damn distasteful about watching more teams than the same damn 14 teams you see every year? (or more accurately, the same damn 4 teams the vast majority of the time, god unbalanced schedules suck)
There is no good reason to be opposed to interleague, it is stupid and reeks of "I fear change!" old people nonsense.
Move a team from the NL Central to the AL West (or from the NL West then juggle the NL divisions around, whatever) balance the schedules, give everyone in every division the same schedule, and put the designated hitter in both leagues. Or dont, I guess, that last point is not necessary if NL fans want to keep watching gimp lineups, but we need a 2nd wild card, even divisions, and more interleague, not less.
