The Eagles can make that pick, we can't.

didt you say that we could have picked a wr, thats exactly what we did with this pick. He's not going to be the 3rd running back. He's going to be in the slot. They feel comfortable with Chambers and Bowe.

I am not saying its the right pick or anything, i dont know, i am just saying thats what he's going to do in the offense.

Why are you reeruns evaluating McCluster as if he's just a running back? He's more of a Harvin-type than a traditional back and considering our offense had no breakaway ability outside of Charles last year, it should be welcomed.

Wouldn't we be better served you know...taking a starting WR who does that?

I disagree, Pioli doesn't give two cents what Weis thinks cause it's Pioli's team. I didn't want us to take Clausen, but I also don't think a situational player who is 5'8" is a good call. Pioli was never going to take Clausen because Cassel hasn't had enough time.

More people going on and on about shit they don't know anything about.

4.5 40 time is breakaway ability?
:spock:

Like others have said, it appears that he may be more of our next slot receiver than a running back. He's like a miniature Wes Welker who also returns kicks.

McCluster runs a ****ing 4.56...
He's not even particularly fast.

You just drafted a THIRD RB with what is essentially another #1 pick?
**** me running...

Exactly. McCluster is going to break some plays for the Chiefs and probably do some eye-popping things.

The kid is just the icing though, not the cake. AND WE NEED SOME ****ING CAKE!!!

Mecca 04-23-2010 04:44 PM

I can't wait to see Cassel airmail this guy who's 5'8...

He's a slower Dante Hall. He's Dante's height exactly.

That short.

chiefs1111 04-23-2010 04:45 PM

good pick for the Bucs

Mecca 04-23-2010 04:45 PM

He's thicker than Dante, if you've seen him when working out and stuff McCluster is built like a rock.

We have another pick come in what, 10 or 11 selections?

Will this one be comedy or tragedy?

I am not a huge fan of this pick... but is Sproles worth a second round pick? This guy has that kind of swivel in his hips. He will make defenders look silly. It is about making the team better, and this guy does it right away. He will be a good returner, and be a great slot WR/receiver out of the backfield.

As I said, I am not a huge fan of this pick.... but I am not going to kill it either. The Chiefs need playmakers and they got two in the first two picks.
