Dane for 1.

I am paraphrasing but he said "Why won't the Chargers win by 30".

Pioli, Haley, et al.'s detractors here are so violent and vitriolic in the expression of their opposition to the front office that it should be no surprise that the more optimistic will use this opportunity to give some back.

My dream draft would have been Berry, Cody, Clausen for the reasons you mentioned. If the FO don't like them, they made decisions in the best long-term interest of the team.
Its hard for me to fault them for adding that kind of speed. Those rookies were as good as I've ever seen a draft class be right out of the gate. What did we have, something like 6 players with a real impact in that game?

Yeah, it seems pretty clear that the front office didn't like Clausen or Cody (or Linval Jospeh or Torell Troup). Because you have to think that the front office recognized a deficit in the NT position at least (I can understand for political reasons why a QB wouldn't be considered).

Rep. That pretty much sums up CP's vibe.

Depends on how Smith works out. He had a good game.

Yeah, I didn't think they had a chance to win. I was wrong. BFD.

But I guess that counts as Federal Holiday in the minds of some, so be it.

So, who are these "Drafturbators" that thought the Chiefs had a shitty draft?

Just yesterday morning the two of us were discussing how we thought KC had a legit chance at winning because of the likelihood of a fired-up defense in the MNF atmosphere limiting Ryan Matthews' effectiveness. That's pretty much what happened. And we're part of that camp they call the "Drafturbators."

You are wrong more than you will admit. If you weren't so ****ing confident in every single opinion you have it wouldn't be as big of a deal or as fun to point out when you are wrong.:D

I give Dane his credit. He did like the draft from the get go. He said it was a good draft and even argued with fellow drafturbators about it

Look even some of the draftobators knew we had a chance to win.

I am pretty sure Mecca along with Dane predicted an epic blowout. 2 of the more vocal draftobators.

Bullshit.

When I'm wrong, I've happily admitted that I was wrong because 90% of the time, it's what's best for the Chiefs organization.

Unfortunately, that's been rare as of late. Hopefully, the tide is turning.

Yea, Dane was actually fairly complimentary of the draft.

Problem with grouping people is when they have differences in opinion they get offended when the group is called out.

No difference than all the dumbass "True Fan" references.

So, is Drafturbator a derogatory term? If not, what is it?

I never once criticized this draft. As a matter of fact, I LOVED it and defended it vehemently this offseason.

chiefsnorth 09-14-2010 11:59 AM

What is the definition of a draft tabulator?

I get that the people involved are those who want to burn alive anyone who largely agrees with what Pioli is doing, but what does it have to do with the draft or with turbation?
