The nicest celeb I ever met was Mark Slaughter, just an ultra nice dude
Had a good 15 minute conversation with him backstage before a Vinnie Vincent Invasion show, he even ended up using part of our conversation as the basis for one of his raps with the audience |
Chuck Liddell walked by me in McCarran airport a few weeks ago. I wanted to go a photo, but he was on a mad dash for the pisser.

I had to look through the thread to see if I mentioned it before, but I had never visited New York until 2005. I had a project in New Jersey, so I crossed into NY for the weekend. I got a hotel near Times Square, put my suitcase in the room, and went for a walk. I made it about two blocks, and this door opened from a hotel, and Donald Trump came out, his face pinched into a big scowl. I did a double-take and one of his guards said, "Keep moving." Screw you, guard. I had no interest in stopping anyway. But it was funny that I'd been in NY for all of five minutes when I saw him.

I think I've posted a list in this thread, but I did some design / ad work for a nonprofit earlier this year and one of the board members was Brad Pitt. Super cool guy. Far more of a normie than I expected him to be.

Jim Lovell (Apollo 13)
Len Dawson Buck Buchanon |
Had Karl Malden for a baby sitter one time
Have met Sheena Easton, Lorne Greene Met Rob Lowe and my wife and I had our pictures taken with him. |
Cain Velasquez most recently. He's building a bad ass Torino and i'm helping him just with some tech support and parts.
I actually have his phone number, as we've been mostly communicating through texts. https://www.motortrend.com/news/cain...lebrity-drive/ ...old article. There's not much "stock" about that car anymore. |

Not really a brag because 90% of mine have been while waiting on their table, but my list is well over 100. I'd have to spend some time thinking about it. Highlights:
Denzel Washington Stevie Wonder Robert Downey Jr. Walter Kronkite Little Richard Kenny Rogers Zach Galifianakis Ozzy Osbourne Anne Hathaway Tim Allen James Marsters James Gunn Marcus Allen Julius Irving Kevin Love Dave Foley Ron Funches Alicia Keys Brie Larson Floyd Mayweather (unsurprisingly, award for biggest asshole of the bunch) Carole King Ed Helms Alan Horn (chairman of Disney Studios) Gabrielle Union Jonathan Taylor Thomas The Sklar Brothers Neil Smith Jenna Fischer Vernon Davis Ed Begley Jr. Louie Anderson Maurice Lamarche (Voice over guy who is basically every cartoon. Best known for Brai from Pinky and the Brain.) Ryan Mother****ing Leaf Those are probably my favorite/most interesting |
I always talk to other people, or read these posts, and realize that I haven't really met that many celebrities that I know of.
The lead singer from Sevendust at a concert. Kevin Costner in a grocery store in South Dakota. The Harlem Globetrotters back in like 1994 when I loaded their tour bus up with water and gatorades at the same grocery store I met Costner at. Other than that.....****ing nothing. EDIT: I'll add Adam Vinatieri because he came and spoke at a Boys and Girls club that my Dad worked at before I graduated high school. Had him autograph my Chiefs hat. Yeah that makes no ****ing sense. |
I met a bunch of different players as a kid at card shows (not sure if those count, but if it does then I can list Mickey Mantle).
Jeff Montgomery and Jim Eisenrich came to our school once and we got to meet them. I answered their "toughest" trivia question that day so I got some cool signed swag as a bonus. Got to meet Buzz Aldrin as a kid when he was at an airshow in Topeka. I've been down to Terry Bradshaw's place (when he lived in TX anyway) a couple of times and ended up buying a horse from him. Various Chiefs players/coaches at TC a number of times. John Dorsey and Charcandrick West were by far the nicest of them all. Real or fake, they would talk to you and seemed interested in it. My brother in law played a couple of years at KU for Roy, but he never saw much game time. A kid that grew up the next house down from my folks is a co-captain for KSU this year. He was in my stepsons graduating class. |
