Every year, it happens to a team where they lose a game here or there where they shouldn't. But, Andy Reid isn't going to let his team get complacent.

Now, they will lose a game here and there, and may lose today.

It happens every year, to every team, and has since 1972.

Of course if the Chiefs lose today, the media will have a field day and the CPers who have been waiting for that I told you so moment, will have a field day for the next two weeks.

But it is, what it is.

This one is, on the road after 3 weeks at home..we win this one, in the manner in which we should, the mold begins to harden. It's rare when it happens but we'll know more in a few hours.

SUNDAY'S GAMES:

Kansas City at Buffalo: Upset special! Kansas City's favored on the road and is No. 1 on the all-important "POWER RANKINGS" across the Internet, but I've got Buffalo here. The Bills are as tough as nails at home. Kansas City's been a nice first-half story and Andy Reid's your Coach of the Year thus far. But I'm looking at the schedule, and I'm a little nervous about trips to Buffalo and Denver, home games against San Diego and Denver and then a game at Washington. Let's check in on Dec. 9. The Chiefs could very well be 9-4 or 8-5.

Nobody is scared of Jeff Tuel.
Nobody.

Nor should they be. As long as KC stops the run, they should blow them out of their own building.

Watched this kid vs Cleveland. No accuracy, no pocket awareness.

Should be a field day.

Hope Sutton turns it up from down ONE.....

If KC loses everyone will say "I told you so..." If they win everyone will say it's because we faced another backup QB.

While that perhaps will be fair. Who cares.

A win is a win is a win.

And you still have to play the games, and so what if its a back up.

Im sure the Broncos, or teams like that would love to play the games that way.

It just happened to fall that way for the Chiefs. They still have to play.

O.city 11-03-2013 11:30 AM

Mav is right. Who cares.

Just keep winning and come up for air in the end and see where you are. Keep piling on wins.

Sandy Vagina 11-03-2013 11:31 AM

It's not like these opponent's starting QBs were all that good anyway.

Just win... don't care about the fickle, football world perceptions.

You'd make a good Chargers fan.

Keep bitching about our schedule while you lose to the freakin' Racial Slurs.

Embarrassing.

You continue to deflect this conversion towards the Chargers. I'm not talking about the Chargers at all.
How do you feel about your team's level of competition? You can't state it because it bothers you...
If the Chiefs go 16-0 and lose in the first round to a decent opponent you may have to come to grips with what this season is turning out to be.

Seriously, get over yourself. We know our competition hasn't been the best and QBs have been backups lately but it's not like we haven't faced any good or decent QBs. But Buffalo is a tough place to play go look. You lost to TEN. We won. Philly has put up 42 in Oakland right now. We beat both, you got shit stomped in Oakland. We deflect some to SD because you're a charger fan questioning our team when your team is mediocre as ****.

Fun fact: we've won all four of our road games by 2 scores.

How do I feel about my team's level of competition? I feel the same way about it as I do the speed of earth's rotation. The Chiefs could not influence the schedule they were given in not one single way. Am I supposed to feel angry or what? Again, the Chiefs as a team could not do anything differently to get this particular schedule.

If they had tougher opponents would they possibly have a loss or two? Sure, I can see that. What bugs the shit about me is how you're making this about "timing." Like we're getting all the breaks when and how we play these opponents. That's the part that screams bullshit to me, and that you're just being a butthurt Chargers fan.

Again, still love you, and we'll make another bet if you're interested when the Chiefs and Chargers go at it, but your attitude right now just screams crybaby. I reject wholeheartedly the notion that if the Chiefs had only played Jake Locker, Brandon Weeden, Matt Schaub, and EJ Manuel that they wouldn't be undefeated. If you think that's the case, you're full of shit and not giving us enough credit.

They had 1st down on the 6 inch line for the win, and had to settle for OT.

Understandable why you wouldn't want to talk about your perennially disappointing team.

That's all I was looking for.
I don't want to come off as a "crybaby" since I have a realistic view of what the Chargers are. I merely wanted to point out, to the zealots, that this team may be a bit of a paper tiger at this point due to some of the breaks that have gone their way.
9-0 is very impressive no matter how you slice it but if I were a Chiefs fan I would have a bit of an uneasy feeling at this point. The next few weeks should truly show this team's metal.
