Many also forget that Broyles was coming off an Achilles tear that ended his senior year at Oklahoma and that Broyles would have likely been a very early pick if not for that injury. The Lions aren't as bad off as people think at WR. Where they do lack is at the tight end position, where Pettigrew has been much of a disappointment. I don't think Detroit will get a player this year that can supplant Pettigrew as the #1 receiving TE, but they can certainly go and get a guy that will be a very solid #2 guy for a long time in the league.
