We’re supposed to close on a new house on Monday. Two sides of the property do not have a fence. One is 95’ and the other is 16’ and gets a gate. One company quoted $4300. I priced everything at Lowes for $1400.

Guess I’m building a fence.

Make sure you buy a string line and a good long level.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu******* building fence.

EDIT: if you have to buy post hole digger do yourself a favor and buy a file to sharpen it. And then sharpen it for the love of god.

I’ll be damned.

That business is hard to find in these parts I cabbaged onto the ones dad had from when he raised pigs because they’re damned handy.

Are you getting vine tomatoes or will you have to tie the Bush to the hog panel?

But if he is doing this to save money he’s not going to want to fork over cash for that. Digging postholes with a post hole digger isn’t bad. As long as you don’t have to do a half mile of them at a time.

I think I’ll have to tie. Or train it while it’s growing.

I get it, but it's a rental...

And good point, always wait a day or two after a soaking rain (or watering lots).

The neighbor got the 1-man deal and it dug like there was no tomorrow.

Bailing twine. Or chefs string, you probably have that on hand. Just make the knot loose as hell.
