I’d say the compromise is to let him play out his rookie contract and than let another team deal with this mess.

Because he will continue to play in this league no matter if you hate him or not.

If the Chiefs did it I would gain a ton of respect for them, just like I did after they rightfully cut Kareem Hunt. I never wanted Hill on the team and you can comb through my post history to see that. I think he's an awful human being--you don't just punch and choke your pregnant girlfriend once without a persistent pattern of behavior.

He also happens to be an excellent athlete and he helps the Chiefs win.

I get that some people only care about winning regardless of who is on the team, and there are obvious limits to what you can know about the character of the players, but in the end, this is an entertainment product, and there are certain things I think are more important than winning a game.

I am of the belief that if I excuse conduct like Hill's past and alleged current behavior that for my own benefit I'm condoning it. I'm not going to do that.

YMMV.

I definitely respect your opinion but it doesn’t change the fact that Hill will continue to play in this league as long as he can continue to put up TD’s. I guess I’m guilty of not caring about character but that’s a league issue and the Chiefs shouldn’t be punished because the NFL can’t get their shit together.

I don't disagree that he will continue to play. If murderers like Leonard Little can still get paychecks, so will Hill.

NFL should make a policy of domestic violence disqualifies you. Until than I hope Hill continues to abuse opposing defenses.

If Pooka Williams beats the shit out of a girl, you shouldn't be looking for every rationalization possible for him to keep playing for KU, just like MU fans shouldn't be looking for rationalizations to exonerate Tre Williams.

This entire website calls Roethlisberger a rapist, but they'll continually bury their heads in the sand and victim blame to paint Hill in a positive light. It's ****ing bullshit. Full stop.

I told you I try to give everyone the 'benefit of the doubt' if I indeed don't have enough information.

I don't give a shit about your ancillary MU/KU squabbles.

And Roethlisberger is called a rapist because someone ACCUSED him of rape, an adult woman, with her own voice, using her words to say things, more than one IIRC.

Very different from our knowledge base regarding Hill at the moment.

What if ...

Tyreek's mother actually caused the injury (using the same corrective techniques that taught Tyreek about conflict resolution and anger control)?

What if ...

Tyreek's silence has more to do with unresolved disagreements among his inlaws, Baby Mama, and Tyreek's desire to protect his own mother?

What if ...

The assumption of innocence on Tyreek's part is degraded due to his past plea to take responsibility for the prior fight with Baby Mama?

That's just as possible, right?

Fair. All I'm saying is if he's innocent, he's not acting like an innocent man would.

Anything Hill would come out and say would be scrutinized by someone. He's going to keep his mouth shut about the whole ordeal and let it play out, because if he said 1 thing that could even be taken as bad, then there will be an uproar from a certain sector of fans. The dude is trying to get paid and keeping his mouth shut is the best way to get paid.

As long as the owners are not in agreement on who should be in the league crap will happen.

It also wouldn’t be as big of a deal if the Chiefs weren’t so close to having a Super Bowl team. This is the closest to a Championship we’ve seen the Chiefs in many of our lifetimes. If the Chiefs had to release Tyreek it could start the unraveling process.

What a virtue signaling pillowbitergot you are.

Congrats man, you’re clearly CP’s man of the year!

Now what exactly did Hill do since you clearly know more than us? You’re saying he should be cut when we have absolutely no clue what allegedly happened. It’s ****ing reeruned.

Why Should the Chiefs be the team that suffers all the ill? Rams, Raiders, Patriots, Steelers , Browns can tolerate this, but we must continually take one for the moral fortitude of the league and sacrifice again and again our hopes of a championship. I bet the rest of the league must be licking their chops every time we have a domestic problem with a player

1. Learn how to read. I said he should be cut/banned if any of this turns out true.

2. I said separately that I have never liked Hill and always thought him to be a vituperative scumbag, because you don't just have an isolated incident like punching and choking your pregnant girlfriend once. And we know that he did that because he both admitted it and plead guilty in a court of law to doing it.

3. The only reason anyone here is supporting him is because he plays for the Chiefs and is an excellent football player. If he ran 4.6, he'd never have gotten a chance in the NFL in the first place. Sorry if I'm not going to excuse someone's character because they're good at football. It's not virtue signaling; it's understanding where priorities lie.

This. We look like idiots cutting Hunt. If we do the same with Hill we will look like idiots again. I think they expected Hunt to get more of punishment and he didn't.
