I just got FIFA 10 on Fri. It is so good. If anyone wants to play PM me.

Also if anyone is wanting to sell a copy of the first Uncharted, or the first Assassins creed, I might be interested in buying them. I really want to play those two games before I play their sequels, just trying to find a deal.

God of War III does not come out until next year. God of War I and II come out on the 17th.

I seen the 17th from their website, when i clicked order now. It was messed up on their end.

I still have Assasins Creed 2 so i am going to be ok come nov.

Well, i am getting assasins Creed 2 for the 360.

Multiplat games 360 for me. I have morepeople i know over there and i have a mic. Cant figure out how to freaking stream with my ps3 using windows 7. I can get the 360 to work, but the ps3 is pissing me off. My computer isnt recognizing it.

Try Googling the issue. I don't know much about network connectivity issues with PC.

Damnit PSN!!!! YOu need to start allowing parents more control of sub accounts. My 5 year old keeps getting messages from strangers asking for game shares. What is the point of being able to block chat when you still allow strangers to message anyone they want?

PSNs idea of parental control is laughable.

I just bought it earlier...ive never played the 1st 2...since i hardly gamed when i had a ps2 except nfl2k5

Playing the 1st one and wow it looks really good. never played the game for ps2, the only knock i have is the cut scenes are ps2 quality, but i can live with it. Spoiled by hd gaming for sure. Also i had no idea kratos consistently gets 2 women in his bed. definetly not a game for the kids

so is that the only difference, is that is its smaller and uses less energy

From the last versions of the shiny one, yes. It plays all the same functionality, has the same number of inputs/outputs, but it does have a bigger HDD (120 vs. 80) for less money (tho the Uncharted Bundle had a 160G HDD).

Just go to ps3.com to view it and get some functionality features.

I'm probably getting my son a PS3 for Xmas........I may go with the older one off ebay. For the 299, He'll have backwards compatibility and more inputs, I think (4 vs 2)......is it worth it to go with the "fat" one or just get the slim and have him keep his PS2 hooked up so he can play Rock Band, Guitar Hero, etc. I don't really want to plop down all sorts of money to re-buy games he already has...

God of War collection is solid - I had never played the original 2 so i'm going to play through them before the 3rd one comes out. The GoW3 demo was very short but very cool.

I would say that's up to you. The early (backwards compatible) ones had SD card slots and 4 USB inputs rather than 2 and no slots like the latter (80G) "fat" and the slim. I'd only go through the trouble (and risk) of getting an old one on eBay if space is a major concern. Otherwise get a new PS3 and the PS2 will hold up like a tank and keep on playing those PS2 games.

I'm enjoying it as well. I had a PS2 but rarely played it, I missed out on a lot of good games. I was more in to PC gaming during that time frame.

I bought a ps2 back when it first came out and only got a handful of games...rygar, need for speed and espn2k5 that i was addicted to then i just stopped gaming...school made it hard.

recently i started again and man i wish i didnt stop, but im glad ps3 re-released this gem. i wish the cut scenes were hd, that might be the only knock i have but ive gotten used to it

this game is great though cant wait to beat it and start 2 and then the demo

Looks like software update 3.10 is out now...i dont think ive downloaded a software since 3.01 was said to have a problem with the playbacks

i guess ill download this update since ive avoided going into the ps3 store
