still like the kid...just give me a QB not named jones |
Be truthful now.
If this is the only game you have yet seen of Geno tonight. And that is all you knew about him. And someone posed the question- Does he look like the number one QB to be taken in the 2013 draft? What would you reply? |
Cousinwives will be beaten tonight.

after a couple int's Geno is a lot more hesitant with the passes.
more checkdowns a little happy feet happening with the sacks too so he is mortal |

being truthful, if you've only seen one game...who cares what you (hypothetical person) think |

I would say, "you have to be joking". Is my response. |
Burning couches? Is that for a loss or a win...
|
So since we are basing a qb draft off one game, I guess it's McCarron or Klein in the first round?

I know a lot of folks are high on Smith....but from some folks I respect, they say he is more of a "system QB" than a real highly likely to succeed NFL-prospect.
More Andre Ware/David Klinger type than a RG3/Cam Newton type. I don't have a strong opinion, as I don't get to watch a lot of college football. Thoughts??? |

It's not like K-State is some powerhouse, I don't care where they are ranked. They'd get their shit pushed in by the SEC, and they make Smith look like this?
Sorry........not impressed. |

How did Tyler Wilson do in the bowl game against KSU last year?

I don't chug a guys dong and swallow after a handful of games no matter what. I understand a lot of you guys do that, but not my style. Either way, Smith doesn't look impressive. |

LMAO You're crazy if you rank K-State below any SEC team other than Alabama or Florida. |
I see talent there, so I'd love to have him but he needs to learn progressions and not just be a one read and throw QB. I was worried that Snyder would put a clown suit on him.

Don't care. K-State isn't that great. That'll bear out eventually. |
This is the thing about judging these guys and projecting them to the NFL.
You have to look at the system they play in, their skill set, their intangibles etc. It's not all about numbers. Could Geno be a system guy? Yeah, could be. Could Barkley be great because he's throwing to 2 NFL wr's? Yeah could be. Same with Wilson and Bray. |
Quote:
And the point was that A&M was a middle of the road (at best) Big 12 team that went toe to toe with LSU. |
Kstate could be any team in college football at a neutral site this year.
It might not be pretty, but they could do it. |
Don't worry you Geno-jerk offs. They will be playing TCU next game.
His stats will be better. |

well my first time to see geno .. not impressed .. the defense he saw today is what he'll see in the nfl .. dont think he'll shine .. id pass on him .....

Geno had a bad game against a great team. It happens.
Doesn't mean he can't play well against good teams. It's just that his defense is so awful that he has the pressure of having to score on every drive. It's caught up to WVU the last two weeks. |
Quote:
Oh, and the best leadership. That separates him from Wilson. That QB is Smith. |
Quote:
Let's say the bad defense is an excuse, i will agree. The offense is ran by the best QB in the nation? And that is all he can do? Pathetic. |
Quote:
He looks like he lead tonight. LMAO |
Man Alabama would bend KSTATE over and **** em in the ass

I don't like Geno either. I remember when Stafford whipped Alabama in Athens while UGA was #1, and the multiple SEC titles that Eli won. I was shocked to see Luck and RG3 only throw TD passes and never lose a game.
I also couldn't believe Peyton Manning was a guy that people thought couldn't beat Florida. Or watching Brady ride the pine as a senior. You idiots look for 2007 Brady in the college ranks thinking a 20 year old has to be that good to justify being drafted... |
Quote:
I agree. 28 or more. |

LSU, Florida, Bama would all face **** k-state to death. |

It's like big-12 fans don't get it. It's been proven over and over again that those big-12 offenses just do not match up very well against SEC defenses. They just get curb stomped. I know they get to look pretty against other pathetic defensive teams, but in the SEC we break foot off in big-12 asshole like it's our day job. |
Quote:
What planet are you from? They had massive difficulty with a shitty, bottom of the barrel Texas A&M team today and they'd beat Kansas State? Either you don't watch college football or you have some sort of bias towards K-State. Either way, you're completely in the wrong. And to date, Alabama hasn't beaten dick. I expect Florida to beat them in the SEC title game. Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if they lose to LSU, again. |

big-12 offenses do not match up well against SEC defenses. This has been proven over and over and over again. Fact. Science. It's not an argument or a ****ing debate. Every year some big-12 offense lights everyone up, then either doesn't make it to the title game or gets its shit pushed in by an SEC team there. Fact. And yes, SEC born and raised. We win championships. What the **** does the big-12 do now besides act tough but not win shit? |
Quote:
LMAO Idiots. |

KSU's offense isn't ANYTHING like the other offenses in the Big 12, so don't even think about comparing them. |
Quote:
LMAO While the SEC has been good the last several years, as always, things change. LSU has been beaten once and I expect Alabama to lose at least one. The best team in the conference is Florida. What was the last job held by Florida's head coach? |

And Stoops isn't called big game bob for no reason. I mean, he's got a rep for that. but Florida's defense was too much for OU's offense, just like LSU's was a few years before that when they just manhandled OU in the title game. It's just never a good match up. |

Bob shit down his leg. I didn't mind, but he hasn't had any Mojo since he was coaching Blake's recruits. |

There's a lot of red flags in his game right now that weren't evident against garbage defenses.
KState and Texas Tech exposed a lot of them. KState especially. I'm not completely against him, but as I said in my prior post, of course this is the year that the QB crop is really substandard. |

I'll be excited as hell for a #1 QB. My excitement for Smith took a big hit the last 2 weeks, but if his name is called in April, none of this will matter. |

I'm fine with Andy Dalton. He doesn't make mistakes, he throws a pretty nice ball and he can make just about every throw. |
