If NASCAR calls the race and the #43 Almirola wins (leader), it would be on the King's (#43 car) 40th anniversary.
Cool script. Edit: 30th or 40th.... |

Sorry folks, hadda run to Costco to get two more years on my gym membership. If not, tomorrow AM would have sucked at the gym asy they'd "send me off" (a'la soccer!!).. :)
|
And they better hurry, the son and I have a 3:30 tee time! LOL, it's summer!

Kyle Petty is delusional. Austin Dillon doesn't have a 1/4 of the talent Larson has. In fact, Austin should still be racing the $3 in Nationwide Series or Truck Series full-time. Chase Elliott at 18 years old has more talent than the Dillon brothers.
When does ESPN take over NASCAR's races? It can't come soon enough. |
You're ****ing kidding me...
OK................. |
LOL...
Happy for Almirola! Declared the winner of the Daytona 400. Have fun, GloryDayz! |
Just called it

OMG NO ONE SAW THAT COMING

LOL, golfing with both my boys again today. Sorry folks, the older is leaving for college soon, so I'm getting all the dad time I can before he leaves... Time with the son = a LOT better than NASCAR.

I agree enjoy the day with him GD. |

time to learn about F1. I'll teach you! |
Quote:
Dylan do you remember when NASCAR had a race at a St. Louis race track and the track was breaking apart all over? It was the last time they used that track. Maybe 8-10 years ago. |
Oh Stenhouse! He took out more than half the field last week in Daytona -

Fairplay, there have been so many unbelievable memorable moments in NASCAR, I cannot remember. |

Logano hits the wall after field filler Morgan Sheppard does something -
Sheppard should have parked the car an hour and half ago for cryin'outloud - that is all he does - 'start and park.' |
It's tied at 0.

thanks... Wow...Logano must be pissed...Damn |
"Slowest car on the racetrack took us out go figure." ROFL
"I feel like there should be a drivers test before you get in a Cup Car." Logano is the greatest. |

hahaha, Sheppard was 10 laps down and slides up into Logano - Love Logano's interview Feel bad for Logano I like him a lot. |

got to love Larson!
he is driving the wheels off that car where's the #3 in the garage? |
Still can't get over Morgan taking out Logano...
What a dumbass LMAO |
That could change up everything
|
Caution out - now this makes it interesting.
TNT short on cameras around the track... Unbelievable. |
Good win for Brad
|
Brad Wins!
And my boy comes in 2nd In the Nationwide win on Saturday, Brad dropped the flag during the burnout - Stopped the car as his crew picked it up so he could continue on to Victory Lane. |

NASCAR Nationwide Series at Chicagoland on ESPN2. Larson and Kahne are the only Cup drivers in tonight's race Stands are kind of empty - Everyone must be racing their own cars shooting one another. The thrill of the chase and the kill. |
Awesome race!
Kyle Larson leading the race and Chase Elliott is trying to get around him! 143/200 laps. Ty Dillon running 3rd. Edit: Elliott got around Larson for the lead - talented drivers Larson is coming back and trying to pass him on the outside. Dillon in the #3 dropped back to 5th. Trevor Bayne 3rd and Brian Scott running 4th Larson and Bayne are beginning to run faster laps than Elliott - Leaders are coming in to pit. Edit: Kahne scrapped the wall pretty good - cue in Al Bundy... :D |
Woot... Thanks Dylan.
|
Sucks there's no sprint cup race this week.

Chase Elliot is going to be in the 5 car sooner rather than later.
|
Wow...Chase Elliott wins in Chicagoland!
Elliott leads in the points. 2. Trevor Bayne 3. Kyle Larson 4. Kasey Kahne 5. Ty Dillon 7. Erik Jones #20 - Toyota. Jones is another 18 year-old rookie, driving for Joe Gibbs. No Cup tomorrow? BUT, we have Formula 1 at German Grand Prix 8:00 a.m. Sunday Getting ready to fill you in on the drama between Rosberg and Hamilton during the past two weeks - Hamilton crashed out earlier today during qualifying ... http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/image...ishamilton.jpg Hamilton 15th after heavy crash Saturday, 19 July 2014 RED FLAG BBC co-commentator David Coulthard points out that Lewis Hamilton's wheels were locked so it is "not accurate" to say brakes failed. He adds that Sachskurve, where Hamilton crashed, can catch a driver out but Hamilton is "not in the habit of throwing the car off." From the BBC: Brake failure is "another gift" for Rosberg - Hamilton Quote:
Germany not Rosberg's home race says Hamilton Quote:
Hamilton needs a coach to learn how to control frustration, so that it does not control him. Every week without fail, he takes a swipe at Rosberg. He has for the most part, disrespected teammates his entire career in F1. I do not understand why fans root for him. Just my opinion |
Just a reminder: Set your alarms for the German Grand Prix Sunday morning... :D

How about that kesolowski fellow? Has he taken the mantle of best driver?
|
Brad is very talented - No surprise - If you followed his career in NASCAR's lower level circuits.
|
What? I messed up the time for today's race - It has already started
Hamilton is bullying his way up front - I hope Ricciardo puts him in the wall. Someone got taken out in lap 1 ?? Lap 15/67 Rosberg is in the lead Wow, a lot of contact all over the track - This track is very narrow. Hamilton up to 2nd - I have a headache - I am so tired Edit: It is starting to rain. Edit: Oh for cryinoutloud, Hamilton hit his former McLaren teammate in the rear - Jenson Button - Hamilton is such a dumbbell. I hope he ruined his car. Hahahahaha! They might have to change the nose of Hamilton's car - He damaged the front wing. Good, serves him right. [Replay] Wow - on lap one Massa had a frightening crash and turned over - Looks like he cut the corner - Lucky that he did not sustain injury. Edit: LOL...Hamilton is losing downforce. Bottas is running 2nd... I like him Rosberg has a 17s lead. Edit: An amazing battle going on between Ferrari drivers Ricciardo and teammate champion Alonso - Ricciardo and Bottas are future young Grand Prix winners - Great drivers. |
Rosberg wins the German Grand Prix !
Bottas comes in 2nd for the 3rd time in three weeks Hamilton comes in 3rd - amazing job Awesome two weeks for Rosberg - Fantastic - Germany wins the World Cup. Rosberg gets married, and he wins his very first German Grand Prix. Let the Britons weep Bedtime...nitey night! |
Dam, just got in...
Ugh... But hey, there's Indy car racing on... Woot... |
I watched the replay of Nationwide late last night, this Chase Elliott kid has it going on. Glad I checked him out for myself. Great race.

Hamilton is on his fourth power unit and Rosberg has three power units left. Although, I could be wrong. Hungaroring is traditionally a difficult circuit to overtake - but with the speed advantage of Mercedes this season, Hamilton should make up time in the pits. Nevertheless, Merc cars are proving to be unreliable. Ricciardo had a damaged rear wing in qualifying on Saturday - Otherwise, he could have placed second or third. Although, Bottas is proving to be a hard charger, so... |
