Kind of surprised KU did not move up more after their big win on Saturday. Great to see Mizzou in the top ten though, hopefully they can stay there for awhile.

Missouri at 10 and 8 respectively?

And with that, I think I'm going to have to label them as overrated.

They're a much tougher out than I thought they would be, but with their size and depth issues, does anyone really think this team is a legit threat for a 2 seed?

I think they're a top 20 squad and should probably be a 4 seed or so, but c'mon; top 10 with a bullet? I just don't see how a team with 1 legitimate front-court starter and a couple of okay rotational forwards could make that claim.

I can see them ending up a top 10 team, but as of right now, KU is where they should be. They didn't move up much because apparently Sullinger is the entire OSU team and the game didn't really count.

They've been playing well lately. They'll probably settle in around 15 once conference season starts. Speaking of which, looking at their schedule, MU could very well be undefeated going into conference play.

Beating a top 5 team without it's best player is about like beating a top 20 team, no? Especially when that team is as dependant on said top player as OSU is.

That's a nice win - but should beating a team ranked, say 15th, really vault you up the standings when you're already sitting in the low teens? Or do you believe OSU without Sullinger is still one of the top 10 teams in the country? I certainly don't.

Sullinger definitely makes that team go - but they have some talent outside of him as well. The win didn't help KU and it didn't hurt OSU. I'm not really upset about not getting a bigger jump in the rankings.

KU wound up at 12. Weren't they 12 last week, or was it 13? I thought they were one spot behind Mizzou, which was at 11. I would think that they would have moved up at least a couple. That is why I was surprised, I thought they had very little movement at all.

I would agree that Mizzou is probably a bit overrated. I see them around 12-15. But Haith has them winning, so I am not going to complain. The longer they stay ranked that high, the better it is for their tournament resume. Conference schedule is going to be very tough for everyone this year, I think the Big XII will be one heck of a dogfight for the top spots.

You're correct - KU went from #13 to #12.
