Are you trying to discredit thousands of people now? Like the people updating the prices on their smart phones can't read the price or are pranking people?

And that particular Speedway is over 5 miles from my house.

Do you really think THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE are roaming Naperville nonstop, 24/7, looking to update gas prices?

Do you really think they need to? GasBuddy gives out gas cards to lucky winners who are entered into the drawing by updating the price.

Try using the app. There are plenty of people who use it and the prices get updated multiple times a day.

Again - WHOOPIE. Hopefully this means the Speedway near my house has come down as well. That would be wonderful. I haven't driven past a gas station since Sunday, and it is now Tuesday. It's not like I can see the sign from my office in Chicago.

But I last purchased gas on Saturday. And. I. Paid. $4.15. A. Gallon. It wasn't a misprint, or an optical illusion, or a figment of my imagination.

Donger and the Dongerettes. :doh!:

Don't use it then. I don't care. I have no idea where you live in Naperville but it's not like you cant search for the closest nearby gas stations with the app or anything.

Everybody exaggerates when talking about certain things. Gas prices. The fish they caught. How many girls they hooked up with in college. How fast their car/bike is. How far they can hit the driver. It's really not new. It just seems right to the speaker because that's the way we remember it.

Most of the time, prices are controlled by corporate at these places as I understand it.

:spock:

Telling friends stories about fishing
Bragging about past sexual conquests
Bragging about old sports car
Talking about how much they got raped at the gas pump

ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS

Its not made up.

What do we benefit from making it up?

Oh, and Gas Buddy isn't 100% accurate.

Get to bitch about it? I THINK $3.45 IS A ****ING TRAVESTY, YOU CLOWN.

Just because I don't rant about it every day doesn't mean I like it.

What point? That you're an obtuse douche? In other shocking news, water is wet and women have secrets.
