The timing was just a coincidence, right?

What it means is that Blount wasn't having to jump and dodge from the left end or 1 technique being in the backfield every play because Joseph was being slammed into the backfield every play. Joseph is what he is, a back up type of guard, that is why no one else even sniffed around him.

Come on, man, the defense would kick ass if we were always in the dime. Asomugha, Carr, Flowers, Barry, Lewis and Arenas every down. That would rock! Nobody would ever run on us, and the pass rush would be unstoppable.
