It’s gonna stay that way too. From the brief clips I’ve seen on talk shows today, no one thinks they’re going to be able to stop the 9ers really at all... it’s like we have to win a shootout if we are going to win at all.

It's weird. I keep hearing how we will not be able to stop the 49ers rushing attack, and about how we have been vulnerable to play action, which plays perfectly into the hands of RatFace Jr.

But, then they pick the Chiefs to win because of Mahomes. They make it sound like we don't belong on the field with San Francisco, but then pick us to win.

I can see a scenario where our defense will do something special on Sunday.

Looking at the stats and talent on both sides of the ball, the Niners are a more well-rounded team. They don’t need their QB to be special if they want to win.

Many of us 49ers fans who go to other teams forums do it to get a deeper knowledge of the game (or at least the perspective of fans of other teams). We've travelled to forums for the Saints, Packers, Seahawks etc but the experience here is different. Someone comes in saying "Hi, I'm a 49er fan. It should be a great game" and the response is "Eat a dick".

Which is just kinda funny,

I originally came as a fan of the Chiefs back in 2005. Everyone told me to eat a dick.

I'll have to trust you, as the resident expert on reeruns.

It's not that difficult. You trolls roll in here and make a single post and label yourselves. Every week, same trolls, different day.

It’s questionable that either of those teams are worse than the Cardinals. Same with the Chargers.

And let’s not act like 23-16 and 31-21 were fluke wins. KC controlled those games throughout the second halves and never trailed in the 4th in either one.

One of my points is that the NFC West is the best division in football and there aren't any shitty teams in it. The Rams lost to us in the last week of the season was what kept the division from having 3 playoff teams.

Your division didn't even have another team above .500

AKA "Story of the Chiefs" 1989-1998, 2002-2007, and 2013-2017.

The modern NFL revolves around the QB. It just does.

I wouldn't necessarily say that's true considering how well they played with Mahomes out.

They better hope they don't need Jimmy to do anything. If he can't throw TDs against the 25th worst secondary in the league . . . he's not going to do much against the 6th ranked secondary, that's for sure.

Wait a second. Is there some unknown team in the NFC West that you only had to play once?

Just accept this fact now - there WILL be a terrible punt in this game. Colquitt's leg looks almost completely dead. He can't mis-hit a ball and get a 40 yard knuckler anymore. When he mis-fires, it's a 25 yard quacker that will flip the field.

If you go into this game thinking "well X team needed a bad punt to score and that won't happen next Sunday..." I think you're whistling past the graveyard. Just assume that's gonna happen at least once next week because I see little cause to believe it won't. Colquitt's pretty much a liability at this stage of his career.

I agree Colquitt is no longer a great punter. However, the warm Miami air should help. But I want to see a young guy take over that position next year. Dustin needs to retire.

NO offense but Colquitt can ride the pine other than coming in to hold on extra points. Tell him to leave the passing to Mahomes, I don't wanna see another of his shitty throws.

WITH HONORS! He was often our best player for numerous years....

A truly sad statement.

Even if this is true it is not by much.

Again, if that’s the case the why were the Chiefs so close to beating both the Vikings and the Packers missing their best players including Mahomes?

Like I’ve said, I know you’re a Mahomes fan but your lack of respect for the rest of the team is annoying as ****.
