It's just a blessing he didn't go to a legit powerhouse tbh. And another good thing is Justyn Ross is the one who can benefit the most off of this so let's hope the kid grabs the opportunity infront of him.

Yep. I was fine with taking Hopkins but a 2 year deal worth up to $32 million? Screw that. Especially when it takes opportunity and/or a roster spot away from one of the talented young wideouts.

Meh, Hopkins would have been a nice luxury for us, but we have the best player on the planet chucking the rock. He's already proven what he can do with a bunch of average guys. Looks like another season ending in failure for you and the bungles

That definitely makes me feel a lot better. I had lots of hesitation about DHop. And I’m definitely glad we stayed away from Beckham. But man would I love to see mahomes with this type of WR just for a season.

I just wanted to jump on the hype train that would have come with signing Hopkins. That would have been fun hearing them talk us up on banner night. (Kind of like the Patsies in 2017, undefeated season and all the hype. Then Alex Smith beat them soundly. LMAO)

I am glad this is over and we can move on. I never wanted him and have said as much. I would rather extend Sneed with the extra money from the Jones extension when it happens.
