That would be great news. If Andy has any interest in Bowles or Wilks, you bring them into town asap as a consultant (I'm assuming you can do that?)

Also, I will never agree with playing 7 yards off a wide out on 3rd and 3. It makes absolutely no sense. It basically is a free first down.

I wonder if Britt Reid will have a larger role on defense next year, as his unit has played consistently above average in the pass rush. I blame the run defense on Sutton because he plays only 2 real defensive lineman so often that stopping the run isn't really possible.

@MMehtaNYDN: Todd Bowles will get head coaching interviews. Keep an eye on the Cardinals, Browns and Packers.

At the very least, Bowles will be a defensive coordinator next season. He should have multiple DC options.

Somewhat true. However, it’s probably not fair to look at the Jets defense with him as the head coach. It’s probably better to look at his work as a defensive coordinator, which is better.
