I don't disagree but we were talking about comparing Reid to Marty.

Sure, and the only real comparison is that after a decade of being close to the ring, they both tried to change up the way they had done things...and maybe in desperation, kind of made some bad personnel decisions.

But Reid's style of coaching is pretty radically different from 'Martyball.'

I hate Ian Rappaport, too.

LMAO

If anyone brings up Kirk Ferentz again on 610 unless Iowa is playing Mizzou, Kansas or K-State, they are getting hung up on.

I love the Danny Parkins show

I'd say it seems pretty clear that Pioli signed an extension.

Out of all the coaches out there, I hope we get him.

He is aggresive to a fault.

As I reported earlier this season, Scott Pioli DID sign extension this offseason, which might be hangup to why he's still with #Chiefs.

This has to be it.

Mr. Laz 01-02-2013 10:53 AM

who the **** is eric edholm?

pretty hard to believe that Hunt would offer an extension and then fire 2 months later

Have not been able to confirm rumors that Pioli and Clark Hunt are negotiating a buyout/severance package but makes some sense. #chiefs

Clark must be a dumb **** to sign him to an extension.

Well that's certainly inaccurate. Like completely, categorically false. He had 3 consecutive seasons above 225 carries including 278 and another 90 catches out of the backfield in 2007.

Honestly, Charles has such good hands and such great HR ability, he's the perfect Andy Reid back. Charles would be an absolute stud under Reid getting about 15 carries/gm while also getting another 5-6 touches out of the backfield.

Reid would be huge for Charles. Charles is the evolutionary version of Brian Westbrook.

Makes it pretty easy to believe what Hunt said when he said he didn't know what was happening with Pioli.

Well if that's the case, then I think Clark is going to have a tough time firing him. He would then try to hire a coach who could work with Pioli while trying to give them equal footing through this new reporting structure, which will badly backfire...

Chiefnj2 01-02-2013 10:54 AM

Clark extended Pioli after the disastrous 2011 season?

And people are happy that Clark is taking a more hands on approach??
