We hit one out, one missed by a foot, and yet another blast went just wide by Rios.

As for Price: he gave up 5 ER in a playoff game, where he couldn't get out of the 7th. That's not a quality start, and he got precisely what he "deserved".

Here's where watching games would come in handy. If the Jays don't flub a routine fly ball in right (that was scored as a hit), he likely leaves the game with 7 innings of shutout ball and a win.

Why is it automatic that Price gets the next two outs? The shadows had receded and the players said they could see the ball better - Price was dominant but he did give up a nice bunch of singles in the 7th.

Verducci said it best last night....the Royals can beat teams in a myarid of different ways, the Jays not so much...keep them in the ballpark and they're not winning.

I was there and what I saw was a barrage of full counts & line drives (including all 3 LH he faced). I will concede you process things very differently in your brain.

I read the thread in reverse, and was prepared to think you got treated badly. But your initial response was real shitty

This statement is extremely confusing. Did YOU watch the game? Let's say Bautista does make that catch. What happened next? Cain singled, Hosmer singled, Morales grounded out, Moustakas singled. They would have had at least 2 runs out of that even if Bautista makes the catch.

well, in fairness, it's much tougher to pitch with a runner on and 0 outs than nobody on and 1 out

that was a huge momentum shift

The difference in this game.

Blue Jays catch a break with the ball that hit the wire, and cash it in for 2 runs.

The Royals catch a break with the misplayed pop up, and cash it in for 5 runs.
