Who's been the most boinkable Olympic chick so far?

GloryDayz 08-08-2016 08:41 PM

Have they ever done a story on how all the gear gets there? Poles for vaulting, sculls, bikes, all the stuff that won't fit in your luggage.

By name, IDK, but by sport, volleyball is up there. On the other end were some of the girls in rugby.

That Swiss miss beach volleyball player has an awesome rack

This is hilarious. I just realized that despite the tivo description, they decided to just flat-out skip the Men's team gymnastics final because the US did so badly.

Uncool, but understandable too..

Ratings and the Internet have changed the Olympics.

It just doesn't resonate for me anymore.

It has been less gripping this year. But wrestling is yet to come, that will have me glued to whatever is broadcasting it. Will take PTO to ensure it's uninterrupted.

Really?

Personally I'm enjoying skipping around to some of the more obscure events like Fencing and Handball.

You can access a more pure form of the olympic broadcast if you only watch the online streams. I'll usually watch NBC in primetime, but the online streams have international commentators who do not come in with pro-USA jibber-jabber during the intros and just calmly and quietly call the action.

edit: to be clear, the international commentary is not anti-USA either. For swimming tonight, the broadcasters sounded australian, they were firmly with Lilly King and were happy when she beat the cheater.

NBC has shown multiple live sports on their multitude of channels for nearly a decade.

I've watched but I'm not nearly engaged as I was in 1976 or 1984 or 1988 or 1992 or even Atlanta 1996 (bombing).

1984 was the pinnacle for me. I was in high school and while the games were on all day, they were also on until 2am. I saw Evander, Sweet Pea, Meldrick and so many others.

1988 was a game changer with Louganis and Roy, as was 1994.

Since then, it's been "blah" for me.

alnorth 08-08-2016 09:40 PM

Oh God, since they quickly won in straight sets, they are forced to go to men's gymnastics. I'm out, I don't want to see this debacle.

Most beach volleyball participants.

Gymnasts might be illegal.

I thought diving was pretty good as well.
