Thanks for the reply. Mediocre quarterbacks don't play five seasons, make the playoffs four times, and have one of the best records in that time frame.

Eh, three playoff victories in 11 seasons call me unimpressed.

Which is still 3 more than any other KC QB has had in the last 11 seasons.....

Just sayin'

Their defense is better than last season but better than bad doesn't equal good.

Besides, their turnover differential this season is -6. It was -4 last season. Hardly a difference.

I don't buy what you're selling.

No, no, no. . . He's a 'better' and 'smarter' fan, because he knows enough to hate the team no matter what, unless they 'luck into' a Super Bowl victory.

It's called 'having standards!!!'

Mediocre QB's often hold great teams back.

Chiefs have a top 5 roster, but Alex's endzone INT's cost us a first rd bye at this time.

Mediocre teams have held great QBs back a good 10:1 compared vice versa.

The closest a QB came to willing mediocrity to a SB was Elway's two embarrassing SB blowout losses in the early 90s.

I just hope that the name for the Lounge never changes. It simply MUST stay as is.

Best. Ever.

So in a nutshell Alex has personally cost us 2 losses (at minimum) and has contributed nothing to our 11 wins?

And even if he did contribute to our 11 wins, thats not as big a deal as the 2 losses.

CP logic at its finest.

Elite ball control wins games on a CONSISTENT basis...PERIOD. There's a reason the dude's teams have won so much in recent years.

cmdrzman 12-28-2016 10:11 AM

We will never win a SB with Alex Smith, lets just accept it and draft a QB this year and let him take over in 2 years. Were stuck with Alex for 2 more years... would cost us more to cut him than keep him...

Alex has won us some games, but those 2 mistakes were HUGE. It could be the difference from making the AFCCG.

It's amazing that people here settle for playoff failure and think it's okay just bc we are in the dance.

Do you understand the complex interaction between grammatical tenses and the passage of time?

I am a huge Dorsey fan and I think our coaching staff is top notch, but it's time to ascend from regular season successto postseason success.

Every year in the NFL there are usually 1-3 elite teams followed by by another 4-5 very good teams and then the rest of the 32 are just there and mediocre/insignificant.
The Chiefs are a very good team, on paper probably one of the best "very good" teams.

When fans say stupid shit like "enjoy the teams success and quit being miserable", I can tell they either haven't been fans long or they are just used to being mediocre.

this franchise is 4-14 in the playoffs since we won our SB. Is that this regimes fault? No, and nobody is saying it is.

However, we are 1-3 in this regime and in year 4 we are still a WC team that hasn't won the division.
The Chiefs have beaten up on mediocre teams in the regular season and postseason for 2 decades. It's time to beat the very good teams and push for a SB...something we haven't done since Joe Montana was here.

Do you understand the not so complex interaction between your head and Alex Smith's ass?

It is pure hilarity watching you and the other Alex Smith apologist dumbshits attempt to provide validity to the myth that the Chiefs can win a Super Bowl despite Alex Smith's inability to throw a downfield pass.

List the teams that have won a Super Bowl the past 20 years or so despite having a game manager type QB. The 2001 Baltimore Ravens with Trent Dilfer, the 2003 Tampa Bay Bucs with Brad Johnson and the 2016 Denver Broncos with 80 year old Peyton Manning.

And all of those QB's still came through and made big plays in the downfield passing game when their respective teams needed it during their successful postseason runs.

You can't win this argument.

Time to stop humiliating yourself.
