I thought they were going to skip over the porn mag scene. The "Why are these pages stuck together?" line was great.

Pretty trippy to see shots of 435 and Worlds of Fun and downtown all CGI'd to dystopian ruin.

Pretty weird that after they went by Worlds of Fun they didn't head north on I-35, less populated route.. Why did they head south to downtown?? Tv land shit..

The Mario Kart Parody they did on SNL of this show is actually pretty funny. Especially considering it's SNL and all.

Ugh, I love me a good apocalyptic wasteland.

I've never been to KC so I was telling my girlfriend I wished they passed through Orlando so I could be familiar with some of the ruins lol

That KC Metro bus on the side of the road was a nice attention to detail

I really did appreciate the prepper surviving the genocide followed by creating the compound.
Some good, some bad.

I know nothing about the game or what story arcs were in it. So, I don't know what is true to the game and what has been inserted for this series.

I thought that this episode started out very interestingly. I like to see shows about how they deal with an apocalypse. That being said, I definitely could have done without the gay stuff, though. Had to skip through all of that. I really don't even care that it was two men who grew to love each other. Just don't need to see graphic stuff like that. :Lin: But, of course, Hollywood these days seems to like to insert that everywhere.

That won't keep me from watching, though. So far, it's a good show.

Spoiler!

Just watched that episode last night. And yeah, right then I said to the wife "see, this is why I don't trust the gov't". Not saying I'm a prepper type but, I do think that any gov't could turn this way. Scary stuff.

Sorry I'm so late to this, but I had to thrown in my $.02.

I love Succession a lot - it's so well done, from start to finish (or where it has left off so far).

But....

Barry is a jaw dropper. It's funny as hell, but Jesus, it takes turns that make your jaw drop to the floor. Quite like certain scenes/moments in Breaking Bad did for me.

You can't go wrong with either choice, but I'd say Barry is more impactful.

Your mileage may vary, but the latest season of Barry was a major dissapointment for me relative to the very high quality of season 1 and 2.

We're about halfway through season 2. Such a great show.

Season 3 is completely different in tone than the first 2. You'll have to let us know what you think.

That's crazy to me. It's brilliant television. I know it's subjective, but I couldn't disagree more.

Both kids have been playing the game, and they both say it's more movie than game.

As I watch them I don't disagree about 1.5 hours in. Maybe it will pick up, but it's not very interactive.
