The only person on FB named Grant Rackers with a visible profile is some teenager from St. Louis and there’s no Chiefs content on his page.

I listened to his podcast for 30 seconds and it sounds like a teenager.

He claims his source is someone who is a “recent member of Chiefs Management / Ownership.” I’m wondering if his source is a friend’s parent.

I always suspected we didn't know the whole story based on some of the comments by Reid and Dorsey after Hill was drafted. I dug around at the time and found some comments online by people claiming to know Tyreek and his girlfriend at the time and they claimed he never hit her and that the strangulation was him holding her from behind (threw his arm around her upper torso that slid up to her neck as she pulled away) as she was threatening to get a knife and he was trying to throw her out of his apartment. When the cops showed up, he admitted to the arm bar around her neck (she was apparently screaming "you're choking me" and others heard) but denied hitting her, which she claimed later. That's part of why he was charged with strangulation but not battery even though he later said he hit her in the canned statement he had to read as part of the plea deal.

It seemed plausible to me but, of course, there was no way to know if these posters were legit or not. It kind of jibed with what Reid and Dorsey said, though, especially combined with the very lenient sentence he got.

Who knows? :shrug:

Be funny if the Chiefs called a press conference about Tyreek Hill, and used it only to announce a contract extension.
