Lmao. Who is then?

Hammock Parties 07-27-2012 01:32 AM

Someone not nearly as good at scheming for Manning.

Just spent 35 mintues watching Peyton Manning. Not a single pass over about 8 yds. Secret squirrel or protection?

Peyton Manning piqued by Hornsby "won't throw deep" tweet and immediately responds with a volley of well thrown 20+ yarders.

Got a friend down there that keeps telling me Manning is not impressing at all.

From yesterdays camp report by Cecil Lammey

... Peyton Manning – Had to move inside to the practice bubble because of the lightning, and Manning put on a show. Any questions about his arm strength were squelched (again) when he overthrew Jason Hill on a ‘9’ route down the left sideline. He is able to get the defense to jump offsides with his commanding cadence, and did a nice job adjusting to what he saw pre-snap. Executed a picture perfect play action pass to Eric Decker. Pass sailed about 45-yards and split two defenders for the TD. Manning’s window was less than the size of a basketball hoop but he put it right in Decker’s hands, splitting Tracy Porter and Quinton Carter. Plenty of zip on his passes to Demaryius Thomas all over the field. Fantastic day from Manning, Thomas, and Decker.

Messier 07-28-2012 10:28 AM

He said Manning seems to be exerting a lot of effort to get the ball down the field, that the strength just isn't there.

Are you going to post all these cute little updates all of August, Cassel>Manning? Like, every day?

The weekly fireside homer chats are bad enough. This place is going to REALLy start to smell like horsepoop if you keep this up

Messier 07-28-2012 10:33 AM

I like the updates. It's the only place to really find out anything about Manning. He's getting ignored by the media.

Get back to me when he takes a HIT.

With all the hype, huge disappointment if the Broncos don't win it all.

Manning was incredibly sharp in 7 on 7s. It just looked easy, especially with Decker. #BroncosTC
