Ty Law was the missing piece to a 9-7 record that allowed them to back into the playoffs.

Woot. But it's too late you already said no.

I misunderstood the question. I thought you were talking about a superbowl victory...

I was... generally that's how success is measured in the end. More specifically though I was using Chiefs questions as comparisons to a Royals question/joke about Roy Halliday looking for property in Lee's Summit in response to Carls20yearplans "the deal is done."

The Tigers sent Maybin and Miller, who were their top 2 prospects, to the Marlins for Cabrera, primarily.

This is the type of trade the Royals should be begging to make.

Or do you believe that all of our prospects (Moose, Hosmer, Dwyer, Mont., Lamb, OdorEasy, etc.) are destined for stardom?

Right now, I'd package any of the two for a similar deal that Detroit made. This suggests, obviously, that David ****ing Glass would be willing to retain the, undoubtedly, high-priced talent.

I would trade Myers and pick the combo of pitchers for Felix Hernandez in a heart beat.

Absolutely. Abso****inglutely.

Of course it's always dangerous to trade and invest long-term in pitchers, but at some point, we absolutely have to. And Dayton and David can shove the 2.5M shit up their asses.

DeezNutz 06-28-2011 09:30 PM

Oh, and before it's posted:

The Royals aren't at a point for it to make sense to pay a player like King Felix. /every single season

Fek that. Trade for king felix and lock him up to a 15 year contract (with injury clauses?)

Royals have signed Elier Hernandez, a big time prospect from Latin America for $3M. Very nice.

Click on the link. Loving it, loving it, and then...

The first ****ing comment says, "Blah, blah, blah, thank you Gil Meche." We're some well trained sheep.

Because if Gil ****ing Meche didn't give up his contract, we couldn't afford this player. Thank you, Gil Meche! Pathetic.

Rant over. Seems like a very smart signing.
