I feel left out, I don't know my 58 Beetle from a 60. But I found this...

Have you ever looked with envy at those preening bastards who can identify the year of any classic Volkswagen Beetle at a glance? They’re so smug, with all their VW-year-identifying-gotten riches and sexual partners. Wouldn’t you like to be like them? Of course you would. I’m going to show you how.

I found a way to waste 20 minutes..

Handy when too lazy to do the math https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc...0r15-275-50r15

It should have been a 325/50.... but rims are a consideration must be 9"-11" rims and sidewall clearance may be an issue

Hoosier DOT Drag Radial Tires 17318DR2 325/50R15

........................................old 275/60 new 325/50 9"-11"
Diameter inches(mm)......... 27.99 (711)......27.8 (706) -0.2 (-5) -0.7%
Width inches (mm)...............10.83 (275).....12.8-13.25 (325).............1.97 (50) 18.2%
Circum. inches (mm).........87.94 (2233.67)......87.32 (2217.96) -0.62 (-15.71) -0.7%
Sidewall Height inches (mm).....6.5 (165)........6.4 (162.5) -0.1 (-2.5) -1.5%
Revolutions per mile (km).......720.49 (447.69)....725.6 (450.86) 5.1 (3.17) 0.7%

I used to use the Miata calculator but it sucks now.

I wanted to go to a smaller tire to see how it would work with my setup, I didnt need such a tall tire.

Also, 325s wont fit without me beating the **** out of the wheel wells, 275s are just fine for me, since I have so much suspension thats all I need to dead hook at my power level. My guess is I can pull the wheels a tiny bit on the track.. will find out later this year.

I’d leave it.

Personally, the only thing good about your truck IS the pinstripe.

Terrible

Next on the list is of course cam/pushrods/valve springs/lifter trays, TBSS intake manifold, blacked out front grill and bumper.. and see if I can find someone to trade these 22 inch wheels for a set more my style in 20 so I can run a little taller tire.

Thinking SS OEMS/Reps or other more 'muscle' type wheels than these tunerish wheels.

I've always used the 3M method. Is it paint or tape? I can't tell from the picture:D:D but you're going to have to glaze it at minimum.

Its pin stripe paint over the clearcoat, hand drawn, has a 2012 watermark on it. Im not going to do any abrasion on it, if it comes to that id rather take it to the body shop.
