The Royals were an elite team over a three year period. It wasn't just a few breaks. Not over a sample that big.

Lot of factors contribute to the Royals fall back this year. The large spike in home runs league wide, injuries, fatigue, regression in a few key spots. All involved.

Stop. Fact is, every team that wins a World Series has good fortune smile on them. People here aren't so much defensive as they are protective. You could troll any team that has won a championship with the same BS, and fans would react the same way.

No, that isnt a fact. I personally dont care what some butt hurt moron says, but some people take issue with that statement being constantly repeated. Eventually there was going to a be a year we don't get to the world series and they were all going to say Told Ya So!
