Westwood has putted out of his ass for three straight days. It's possible that such a streak continues, but even in great golf tournaments a player usually does not do something better than they are capable of for four straight days.
His putting will disintegrate tomorrow, and so will he. The tournament is pretty open. Even par will win it. |

Any of you assholes up early this morning to watch this?
My prediction is that Westwood chuts it away. Best ball striker on tour, terrible putter and really has an unpredictably terrible shortgame due to the fact that he flips at it thru contact and loses the angle (how a tour player can do this, is befuddling to me) and I think it all catches up to him today. If you can finish under par, you win today. I think Mahan is in a good spot. |
And IMO, you just can't have a links golf course have it's greens this fast and hard. Normally, IIRC, links greens play fairly slow in terms of tour standards.

Tiger already throwing shots away. Has been a trend with him on weekends in majors of late.
|
Yeah, Tiger got a bit unlucky in regards to his second shot hitting soft, but what a terrible short put.
|
Unless Tiger figures out that the greens are slower than they were yesterday, he's in trouble.
And when green speed changes like that, he usually doesn't figure it out. |
Poulter's figured out the greens.

He's on fire. If Poulter can post a number anywhere around the score he has now, he's got a great chance.

Poulter defines the word ' douche'.

Tiger has always struggled with greens that change speeds during a tourny. I think he's in trouble.

Tiger fading. No real surprise.
