Game 5 is going to be killer.

Carp vs Halladay. In Philly. Do or die.

If this does end up being Albert's last game in St. Louis as a Cardinal, at least it was a playoff win.

David Wells was the ace of the Jays staff when Halladay and Carpenter began their careers in Toronto. Amazing it was that long ago.

As a Halladay fan, this is the matchup I wanted all along. Should be fun.

Well that too. The two are very similar in stature and pitching style. Carpenter never really endeared himself to Jays fans in the same way because he was fairly mediocre in Toronto, but I've always liked him. Quite the pity for the organization that they didn't choose to stick with him when he got hurt.

The early 2000s Blue Jays had some decent players at that time.

Halladay, Carp, Lopez, Hinske.

Thing with the Jays is that they have never been that bad over the last decade(minus 1 season) and play in the AL East. Put 'em in the Central and they win a division title.
