So...6-man rotation? Is 5 crappy pitchers not enough?

I think we should call up Suppan and go 7

Might as well bring Mazzaro back too. If Davies is good enough, so is he.

8! We'll have the most rested rotation for the playoffs! Genius!

Better yet, have a drawing at the beginning of the game. Whichever fan's name is drawn pitches the first three innings. Then they get a free trip to either Omaha or Springdale, Arkansas!

Aaron Crow is your 2011 pity pick for All Star.

Royals reliever Aaron Crow was selected Sunday to the American League team for the All-Star Game on July 12 at Arizona.

Crow gained the selection by going 2-1 with a 1.36 ERA in 33 appearances.

Good for him. Figured it would be Soria or Crow because managers always want additional arms.

Too bad for Gordon, since he's clearly been the best player on the team this year.

A pick that could live in the pages of Royals mythology...like Ken Harvey, Mike MacDougal and Mark Redmond being "all stars."

Let's hope he earns the stripes over the next couple years.

Apparently Alex Gordon is on the list of 5 to be the last guy voted onto the team. He's up against Konerko, Adam Jones, Zobrist, and Victor Martinez.

There's the website to vote for the final player on each team. I'm not sure if there's a limit on the number of votes you can enter, or not.

Konerko should get it, .317 AVG and 21 HR is pretty fierce.

KCSupersized 07-03-2011 12:19 PM

I voted about 100 times for Gordon, he deserves it. IMO

No Yankees, so he's got a chance, but I'm not holding my breath. Hope AG gets in though, he deserves it.

Reaper16 07-03-2011 02:38 PM

Gordon doesn't deserve to get in over Konerko.

Demonpenz 07-03-2011 02:40 PM

Konerko deserves to get in. Cool for E. Draven
