I don't get it. Production is down in China and India, and we're out of peak use season for oil. Why in the **** is it not going down? Let me guess, speculation is way up right now? **** big oil. Regulate that shit immediately.

Just checked GasBuddy on my phone and it's jumping up 38 cents right now. Some stations showing 3.51 and other that were recently updated for 3.89. Good thing I filled up last night.

Ive actually noticed its been coming down over the past couple of weeks. Not much and not fast, but its been coming down in my area.

Think i paid $3.46 yesterday, a few weeks ago it was around $3.65.

Mr. Flopnuts 10-05-2012 10:19 AM

I paid 3.65 3 days ago down here in Hillbilly Hollywood. I hope it catches up. This shit should be in the low 3's this time of year. We're WELL past Labor Day.

Probably so that in 3 weeks it will drop dramatically because of the elections and someone will claim they are going to work hard on continuing to lower gas prices.

Mr. Flopnuts 10-05-2012 10:25 AM

REGULATE IT! Sorry about your future profit losses, Donger.

Actually, the high prices in SoCal right now are due to refinery issues impacting supply. This has nothing to do with the price of crude.

And it most likely won't get to $4.00, and will not get anywhere close to $5.00. Crude is pretty stable and has been for some time.

I hate that you say it won't get to $4 because I guess that's the national average.

I can't even remember the last time gas was under $4 here. I think at least 6 months ago.

I have no personal fiscal benefit in high crude prices, but I don't really understand what you mean by "regulate it." You want the federal government to fix prices?

I don't care if you hate it or not. The average price is what matters. If you don't like paying the premium you Californians pay, move or elect different politicians.
