It really is horrible for the universe. Things could have been tweaked and we could have ended up with a good Star Wars movie.

LMAO Sorry, but those of you who are desperately hoping the Star Wars franchise tanks because Rian Johnson didn't pander to the Nostalgia bundle of stickss are going to be sorely disappointed. Spoiler Alert: Disney will continue to churn out successful movies and most of the folks that hated this movie will whine and bitch and moan and gnash their teeth while paying to see it 5 times in theaters, then spam review websites about how bad it was.

Star Wars is like Batman. Batman Forever and to a greater extent Batman and Robin were horrendous movies, far worse than this one, and did that matter at all when Christopher Nolan started his trilogy? Not at all. I've already seen Star Wars come out of two movies that were worse relatively unscathed. But keep crying about Rian Johnson.

LOL, how about the DCEU? outside the success of WW ? it's on deaths door to become solo stand alones. Keep telling yourself that Star Wars will remain king.
