I guess you're right.

Also, I LOLed so hard when Kelce gently pushed him into the ground on one of those catches.

they gave us the ball back with 1:49 and got two scores. They did their job.

Really...you can't explain away the horrendous CB play.... oh by the way.. only 14 pts scored by the Rams defense... The rest was given up by our defense...40pts....

DrunkBassGuitar 11-19-2018 11:22 PM

51 points should be enough to win. QBs are going to make mistakes when you're asking them to score 55 points in one game

That flawed roster really only lost the New England game. They definitely would have won tonight sans a couple of Mahomes "rookie" mistakes.

It sucks to lose in prime time, I get it. But this team absolutely is a Super Bowl contender. Especially considering they're likely to have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. The "flawed" roster is giving up a ton less points at home.

I wish Sutton was just good enough.... Our offense can overcome but it will be tougher in January.

MVChiefFan 11-19-2018 11:24 PM

I don’t care whether we blame the defense or not. Bottom line is, I hate most of our secondary. We did pretty well against Gurley and we put some decent pressure on Goff. But for the love of God, I hate Sorensen, Parker, and Murray! They are absolutely horrible! And Scandrick has been okay sometimes, but tonight he showed his flaws big time.

MMXcalibur 11-19-2018 11:24 PM

Man, we have to sit on this for 2 weeks......

Mecca 11-19-2018 11:25 PM

Lets get real if they aren't playing in a hole where the Rams and Chiefs have a different set of rules given to them by the refs that is probably a different game.

Rams were basically allowed to do anything and everything, while the Chiefs were flagged for every ticky tack thing imagineable.

We had the lead with less than two minutes left. It is what it is.

This defense cannot handle anything but very bad offenses. Sutton's defense almost always shit the bed against quality qb's. (Yes, we beat Brady a couple of times and Manning once, but overall, Sutton's defense shit the bed against quality offenses and playoff teams.)

Mahomes was both the reason we stayed in the game and the reason we lost it. We are the Indianapolis Colts during the Manning years now.

**** off, you piece is shit! Go suck on Peters peter since that seems to be what you're good at doing. You're not a Chiefs fan. You're a Marcus Peters fan. That ball was a gift. He was so great that his defensive coordinator didn't trust him to cover their top weapon and instead gave that duty to Sam Shields. Chiefs still scored 51.

Why the **** was Parker on the field and not Lucas? Sutton needs to let the young guys play.

There is no reason for Parker to be on the field as much as he is.

Sutton refuses to simplify his scheme and change with today's nfl.

He needs to go.

Beef Supreme 11-19-2018 11:28 PM

There were more points scored in that game than the Bills have scored all season.

I don't know. I'd like to believe this, but they've played bottom feeders at home besides Cincinnati who is a .500 team.

I hope Pat learns soon to get rid of the ball in the NFL. Nothing good happen when you hold it to long. Sometimes in his drops he doesnt get enough depth then holds it one second to long.
