I think there's some degree of leeway given to them because it's the Patriots (and they've earned that...). 'course in the end, it really only matters how they perform on the field. And if they both play like pro bowlers and the Patriots start winning playoff games again, then they were obviously the right moves.

They would have been terrible moves for the Chiefs, because:
a.) We are in good shape at WR.
b.) Haynesworth doesn't fit what we do.
It's a great deal for NE because there's no risk. They actually need someone like Ocho, and anything they get from Albert is gravy. Late round picks mean nothing to BB, he'll have 3 fifths and 5 sixths by the time those drafts come around.
