Since 2000, only 2 other teams in Major League Baseball (Phils and Yanks) have accomplished what the Royals have done in the last 2 years; back to back pennants and a World Title!

They may have not been an all time great team, but their recent run is among the best baseball has seen since the millennium turned over.
