Our big men played pretty well. He really wasn't needed. The conference isn't deep. As long as our bigs stay out of foul trouble, we're fine.

We need to close games like these a little better....the Illini shouldn't have caught us, if we hadn't chucked up some shots like they were playing under last years coach.

Having said that.....and trying not to look too far ahead....but it would be nice going into the Baylor game undefeated. That would be a real test of power in the Big 12.

But we have to survive road tests in Manhattan and Ames....I think we can beat Texas, aTm and Oklahoma at home.

Last night was my first Braggin Rights game to see live, and I think it may become an annual tradition. The atmosphere was amazing and felt like a tourney game.
