Yep, passing on Graham for Moeaki is going to haunt us for a long time.

I remember you being high on him going into that draft too. Guy is a freak.

Here come the Hawkeye homers....

Tyler Palko: Coach, I know I threw 3 interceptions, and fumbled a snap in our loss to the Steelers. But, I know I can do better.

Todd Haley: Don't worry about it. Our season is shot anyway, so go ahead and start practicing for our game next week against Chicago.

At this point, there really is no argument to this.

The good thing is that the injury happened early enough that he has a whole year to rehab it. He has shown to be a possible budding star that is not only a really reliable receiver that finds ways to get open, but is also a weapon in helping to neutralize good pass rushers and help open holes in the running game.

This.

Moeaki is a more complete player than Graham, but Graham is an absolute matchup nightmare who dictates coverages. Were both healthy and had a history of so, a fair argument could be made that they are roughly equivalent players that bring different skillsets, but given Moeaki's checked past and present, it's not as even of a matchup as it could be.

Not to mention the guys throwing to them. If you gave Brees Moeaki I think he would be doing pretty well for himself as well. Not saying they are even, but it sure doesn't hurt. Same thing with Welker in NE. I would be interested to see just how effective Welker would be without an extremely accurate QB.

sucks but true.

I think its fair to say Moeaki is a better fit for our offense, though.

What he does when he is not running routes is pretty damn good.

Christ, you couldn't make the quest for 4-12 any more obvious unless www.kcchiefs.com put "L"'s next to each game from here on out.

If Stanzi's so unprepared to fill in, why not give him first string reps heading into the week?

Carr, Flowers, Hali and DJ are the core of the defense. With Berry, those are by far the 5 best defenders on the team.

Albert is still the best offensive lineman, and Waters would be the 2nd best if he wasn't traded. Bowe is still the best receiver by far, Charles the best RB and Battle the best backup RB. TG was much better than any TE KC has put on the field.

In 3 years they've added 1 impact defender in Berry, and 1 potential impact TE who is/was always injured (and non-injured TE's who are just as good or better were available).

Pretty much right on. Cant really see where the roster has drmatically improved, other than WR, since Pioli took over.

This team with Griffin is a superbowl contender as soon as he is ready to take the reigns. The offense would be unstoppable. Given the defenses performance (without Berry) against the potent Steeler offense, I can only imagine how good they would look if we won the time of possession battle. Our defense has to be tore up for how much they've been on the field this year.

We have seen major improvement at WR, G, depth at CB, depth in the front seven, and safety.

Barkley was on SportsCenter and Versus tonight. Kid has it all really. He is a marketing dream.

I think as of now I would take him first. To be honest I would be happy as hell to have him or RG3. I see the potential with Griffin, but my gut says Barkley from what I have seen. I haven't really seen enough of Griffin.
