Cam is no Alex Smith

This thread still delivers.

Clay's Osweiler thread reminded me of this gem...

He also has 29 ints in that time with an above average qb rating of 85ish (Fitzpatrick pulled an 83 last season) and two losing seasons. Not to mention what 4-5 public meltdowns/crying like a baby after losses. Most of his stats are garbage time anyway.

Swag doesn't win football games douchebag, just ask huge dorks E Manning, P Manning, Roth, and Flacco.

His answer I don't know then he sees the color held up by o coordinator. Oh that's blue, gruden laughs and says you don't know the plays. He said we make it simple and hold up colors. Lol

You think this guy can learn the complicated reads of the Andy Reid west coast offense?

Once again I'll state it even clearer Hell No!

It should be obvious at this point that Cam is a head case and doesn't have upstairs what is needed to be a really elite level guy. He's never going to be elite. I don't care about his stats, he's not a winner. He's not a Brees or Rodgers or Eli. He's not. Some of you have lost your ****ing twat minds.

Playing QB isn't just about physical talent, it's also about all of those intangibles that Cam does not have.

A truly great QB elevates his team to win. Newton celebrates scoring a touchdown in a blowout. The dude is an idiot. And so are you and the other pillowbiter in this thread clamoring for him.

It's the fact that all of the markers on Newton coming out of college about him being a diva and dumb and a headcase are true.

I'm all for taking a QB with the first overall. But Newton is a proven commodity. A proven shitty one.

Cam is the last F"N drama queen QB we need for our team and I don't care how physically gifted he is if you don't have maturity to endure the tough times( a la good leadership) physical skills don't mean sh** !!(See Jeff George, Vince Young, JaFatass, etc....)

Whew. I was worried when this thread popped up.

I've never been a huge fan of Cam Newton.

LMAO

This thread is comedy gold as well. Tyler Wilson???

Tyler Wilson has been out of the league for two years and Cam Newton currently QB's the 11-0 Panthers.

CP being CP.

Shocking.

Even at 6'6, he's barely visible on your illegal stream.

He watches football illegally from a stream on an old 15" CRT so the broadcast is like 3x3.

His takes are worse than Clay's and far less informed.

Fantasy football has ruined most discussions in this forum.

I like fantasy football itself, but it skews takes now and makes people ignorant now because it's all about the points and less about the player.

He threw a ton of INTs in his first few years despite not throwing a particularly large volume of passes. Completion percentage has always been extremely low.

More than that, watching him in the games he just never wowed me.

I stopped playing FF years ago because there were too many occasions in which I'd win the week, IF a Chiefs player played poorly. It just wasn't any fun.

The Chiefs are more important to me than FF or gambling, so I engage in neither.

ThaVirus 11-30-2015 08:55 PM

Dane's just pissy because he's never been able to debate with me. He's a classic case of arguing the poster, not the post.

He just can't let go.
