No power here in south Overland Park. I got a text message from the power company that they expect it to come back on around 10:15 so we will see.

I’m waiting on that system that moved through KC to get to the Joplin area in a short matter of time (and here is the wind picking up now as I’m typing). Phone blew up with a NWS announcement advising 80mph winds were on the way.

That Cali weather is getting to me! 65* tonight with no humidity. It really skews my perception of weather when I travel. Another perfect weather day for humans tmrw and I have deal with that shit.

Had some serious wind in JoMo last night.

Lost power for 2-3 hours last night and lightning or wind took 3-4 huge limbs down in the front yard. Just lucky they didn't hit the house.
